Sean and Ursula Look as if They Were Having a Ball!
As these behind-the-scenes shots taken by United Artists of the two show, Sean and Ursula were having a lot of fun both on and off the camera. We see them cuddling, playing with wild birds, Sean crashing after a night of drinking - all the sorts of things you would expect from young rising stars. Even director Terence Young gets into one of the shots, apparently reviewing Ursula's dialog with her.

Naturally, there are all sorts of shots of Ursula in her iconic white bikini and Sean showing off his fine physique. They each perform handstands, Sean helping Ursula, and there are candids of them lolling on the beach. Somewhat surprisingly, Ursula is shown sunbathing topless in one shot, which would have been quite daring in those days. Anything for her art!

These are great shots. The studio photographer must have taken several rolls, saved only the best, and then filed them away for fifty years. Some of these have been just rediscovered and scanned in from the original prints. They may give you a whole new appreciation for "Dr. No."
